Meet Belinda
Hello! My name is Belinda. I’m a mom, wife, business lady, and a bunch of other things. For a long time, I went through life as a high-achieving smart kid working to live a near-perfect existence. (Realistic goals, I know.) When I became an adult, it seemed like there was a new set of rules, but I diligently applied myself to perfecting those rules, even when neurodivergence made it difficult.
I was able to get by but felt a lot of shame that I wasn’t doing things as well as I thought others were doing. When I had my son, I adapted to my new normal but still wasn’t sure if I was really doing as good of a job at life as my peers.
I kept working at it though and pressed on! As I grew in my career, my son grew older, and my husband and I worked to build our happy life, the demands on my time & mind grew. I was happy enough but tired. I felt like I was doing “all the things” but still felt frantic to keep things in order. If one thing fell off then it felt like the whole system fell apart.
Then one day I saw a meme that led me to trauma-informed ADHD coaching. I hadn’t formally been diagnosed so I wasn’t really even sure it was for me, but something seemed right about it, so I tried it out.
This turned out to be a life-changing decision. I cannot express how much more I enjoy my daily life now that I’ve learned new skills to regulate my nervous system & feel my feelings. Better yet, I feel great about what I’m able to accomplish each day & truly feel like I am succeeding in my various roles in life.
It’s the best feeling & I can’t wait to share all that I’ve learned with you! It’s an honor to help you reach your goals.
